Markings: Each receiver is finely engraved with scrollwork and features a gold-inlaid quail on the underside, with the words “One of 500” and “Golden Quail.” The barrels are marked with their respective gauge designations and chamber lengths. The vent rib of each shotgun bears the “Golden Quail” engraved banner. The barrel flats and water tables are marked with their serial numbers and Winchester proof marks.

Sights / Optics: The front sight on each shotgun is a brass bead set on a serrated rib. There is no rear sight, as typical for shotguns.
Stock Configuration & Condition: Each shotgun in this set features a checkered straight English-style stock and matching forend made of high-grade walnut. The wood grain on each is stunning, with deep figure and a glossy finish. The LOP measures approximately 14 1/4″ from the front trigger to the end of the rubber buttpad. There are no visible cracks, chips, or handling marks, and the checkering remains sharp. These stocks rate in Excellent to Like New condition.

Bore Condition: The bores are bright. There is no visible erosion in the bores. All three shotguns appear unfired outside of the factory. In this writer’s opinion, the bores rate 10/10.
Overall Condition: These shotguns retain about 99% of their original finish. They show little to no handling wear, with only the faintest evidence of storage. The screw heads are sharp, and the markings are crisp and clear. Overall, these shotguns rate in about Like New condition.
Mechanics: The actions function correctly. We did not fire these shotguns. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
