Sights / Optics: There is a fixed brass bead at the front of the rib. The top of the rib is finely checkered to reduce glare.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture set is a two-piece checkered walnut with full length finger shelf forend and a capped semi-pistol grip with fluted straight comb stock with black checkered Winchester butt plate. The LOP measures 14? from the front of the trigger to the back of the plate. The cast is about neutral. The drop at comb is 1.5” and drop at heel is 2.5”. The shotgun weighs 6lbs 7OZ. The surface of the wood shows scattered surface level lines and compressions. There are a few scratches that went through the finish as well. There are no visible chips or cracks. The butt plate shows similar wear to the wood with compressions and lines. There is a small punch mark on the right side of the wrist below the cheek. Overall the wood is in about Good condition.

Bore Condition: The smooth bores are mirror bright with no erosion. There are minor visible lines from use with no visible plastic fouling. In this writer’s opinion the bores rate 9.75/10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 93% of its metal finish. The barrels show some minor scattered marrs and marks with a few small nicks in the metal, the most notable on the barrels are some small spots of surface rust. The receiver shows the majority of the finish loss from thinning mainly below the safety and the lower tang. The bluing on the trigger guard is beginning to show some rust freckling. The gold trigger shows finish loss and oxidation. The bottom barrel shows rub wear from the handguard that is concealed when assembled. The screw heads are sharp and the markings are clear. The screw heads on the stock show surface rust. The inside of the action shows minor rub wear. The action is very smooth. Overall this shotgun is in about Good+-Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The barrels lock up to the receiver with no play. The safety does not engage automatically when the action is opened, and does function properly when engaged manually. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
