Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “-WINCHESTER MODEL 70 SA 7MM-08 REM.- / MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CT. U.S.A.-”. One proof mark on the top of the barrel. The left side of the receiver is marked “WINCHESTER / -TRADEMARK-”. The right side of the receiver at the chamber is marked “G136214”. The right side of the barrel is marked, “-CLASSIC FEATHERWEIGHT BOSS- / PATENT NUMBER 5279800”.
Barrel Length: 22” with BOSS muzzle brake.
Sights / Optics: There is no provision for iron sights. The top of the receiver has a two piece quick detach Leupold scope mount.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a one-piece checkered walnut with a blued metal capped semi-pistol grip, schnabel forend, straight comb,stock with red rubber Winchester buttpad, and sling studs front and rear. There are no notable signs of wear. The signature Winchester Featherweight cut checkering is well defined. There are no chips, cracks, or nicks. The LOP measures 13 1/2? from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. Overall, the stock is in Excellent to Like-New condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. Some dust from storage in the bore.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. This rifle is in near pristine condition. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear and legible. Overall, this rifle is in Excellent to Like-New condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. This rifle employs a Controlled Round Feed bolt. The safety is mounted at the back of the bolt on the right side. It has three positions. Pushed all the way forwards, the safety is off and ready to fire. In the middle position, the safety blocks the trigger, but allows the bolt to be opened for loading and unloading. In the rear position, the safety blocks the trigger and the bolt. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
