There are tool marks on the rear of the barrel. There is moderate-heavy operational wear including a convex bulge on the bottom face of the lifter from the lifter arm. The screw heads range from sharp to disfigured with useable slots. The markings are worn, but legible. Overall, this rifle is in about Fair-plus condition as Antique (see Mechanics).

Mechanics: We could not get the hammer to fall past the half-cock notch. The lever safety does not properly interfere with the trigger releasing the hammer. The lever does not push the lever safety out of the way when the lever is closed. The lever-lock does not properly lock the lever. The lever has excessive play.  Otherwise, the action functions correctly. There is a ldust cover on a rail on the receiver, typical of the Third Models. We have not fired this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: None.
