Sights / Optics: The front sight is a fixed blade front sight with protective wings screwed to the receiver; the rear sight is a fixed peephole sight with protective wings screwed to the receiver. The top of the receiver is mounted with a Colt Optics Red Dot sight. The red dot sight needs batteries. We have not performed a function test. The light and laser both function correctly.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The buttstock is a fixed tubular stock with wooded buttplate. The grips are two piece checkered polymer panels with a polymer grip angle on the backstrap. The forend is smooth walnut. The left side of the barrel shroud is mounted with a laser sight and the right side is mounted with a flashlight. The LOP measures 15” from the front of the trigger to the rear of the buttplate. The checkering on the grip panels is sharp. There is only some minor handling wear. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the stocks rate in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The markings are crisp. The balance of the finish is strong and complete throughout. There is little to no operational or handling wear. The markings are clear. The screw heads are sharp. The pins are unmarred. There are a few minor marks in the magwell. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent Condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: The Wilkinson Arms Linda traces its lineage to the late-1970s/early-1980s wave of American pistol-caliber carbines built for home defense, law-enforcement niche use, and the burgeoning action-shooting scene. Developed by Ray Wilkinson in Parma, Idaho, the Linda (and its sibling, the Terry pistol) earned a reputation for rugged simplicity thanks to its straight-blowback action, robust tubular receiver, and distinctive styling. Its design reflects the era’s fascination with compact defensive carbines: fixed sights protected by heavy wings, a ventilated barrel shroud, and the clean industrial lines that set it apart from both traditional rifles and military-style platforms.
Chambered in 9mm Luger, the Linda occupies an interesting chapter in American PCC development, arriving well before the modern surge of Glock-mag compatible carbines or AR-based PCCs. The cartridge itself—born at the turn of the 20th century and standardized by the Luger pistol—remains one of the most versatile centerfire rounds in the world. In a 16-inch carbine like this, 9mm achieves improved velocity and controllability, giving the shooter a very soft-handling platform that still delivers respectable performance. With its bright 10/10 bore, original matte finish at 99%, and excellent furniture, this example captures the Linda’s unusual blend of utility and personality. The mounted accessories—a period-style laser on the left and a flashlight on the right—add to its distinctive silhouette and underscore its intended role as a ready defensive or utility carbine.
