Markings: The right side of the frame is marked with a French proof mark and “54031L”. The right side of the barrel and right side of the slide are marked with a French proof mark. The left side of the slide is marked “MANUFACTURE DE MACHINES / DU HAUT-RHIN”, the company logo over “MADE IN FRANCE”, and “LIC. EXCL. WALTHER / MOD. PP Sport Cal. .22 LR”. Both panels are marked with the company logo and “LIC. WALTHER” at the bottom edge.
Barrel Length: 8 1/4”
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a forward slanting blade that is pinned to a riser integral to a band around the barrel. The rear sight is a square notched leaf adjustable for windage in a base that is dovetailed to the barrel.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The target grips are two-piece checkered brown synthetic panels with a thumb rest on the left panel. The most notable defect is a small crack in the rear of the left panel. Otherwise, there are only light handling marks on the smooth borders and the checkering is sharp. Overall, the grips rate in about Very Good condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 97% of its metal finish. The bottom of the barrel shows a few minor spots of surface oxidation. There are barely perceptible fine handling lines on the receiver. There is faint operational wear. The screw heads range from sharp to slightly disfigured with serviceable slots. The markings are crisp. Overall, this handgun rates in about Fine-Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The slide safety also acts as a de-cocker and blocks the hammer from hitting the pin. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This gun comes in its original serial matching case with a total of one 10-round magazine, a manual, and a cleaning brush and rod. The box shows rub wear, a few spots of finish loss, and has split in the top edges. The box rates in about Good-Very Good condition. The magazine shows faint operational wear and is in about Excellent condition.
