Our Assessment: This Long Rifle is a beauty! It is an excellent example of a modern take on an American classic and was made by one of the best, Bill Large. Bill Large is regarded as having made some of the best muzzle loading barrels in the industry by those in the know. It is said that when he would take orders, if customers wanted .45 cal he would try to talk them into a .40 like this because he thought they were the best. The bore is great and the mechanics are strong. Whether you’re looking for a flintlock for the next muzzle-loading season or are just a fan of gorgeous guns, this would make a wonderful addition to any collection in America. Please see our photos and good luck!
