Our Assessment: The first Universal Firearms carbines were 100% compatible with surplus GI carbine parts, their carbines included many of these parts. This carbine has parts from Underwood, Inland, and Winchester. If you are missing that one part for an M1 Carbine in your collection this rifle can be a good choice. If you just want a modern M1 carbine to shoot 30 cal, this is a good option. Good luck!
