Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “WINCHESTER ®” MODEL 1894 – – CALAIBER .30-30 WIN. ONLY”. The right side of the barrel is stamped “Made by Miroku – Japan– Imported by BACO, Inc., Morgan Utah.” Winchester is a registered Trademark of Olin Corporation.” The left side of the barrel near the chamber bears the Winchester proof mark. The bottom of the receiver is marked with the serial number “00117YW94E”. The top tang is stamped “WINCHESTER ® / MODEL 1894.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a beaded blade dovetailed to the barrel. The rear sight is a u-notch semi-buckhorn elevator sight dovetailed to the barrel.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two-piece checkered walnut with a capped forend, straight grip, straight comb, and steel crescent buttplate. There are no handling marks. There are no chips or cracks and the wood has a very nice pleasing grain.. The LOP measures 13 1/2? from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. Overall, the stocks are in Excellent condition.

Finish Originality: Original
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. The rifle still has original factory stickers and appears unfired aside from factory testing. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99.9% of its original finish. Rifle appears to be unfired aside from factory testing. The receiver, lever, forend cap and crescent buttplate and finished in a vivid case hardened finish. The barrel and bolt are finished in a deep blue. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle is in Excellent – Like New condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
