Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “A. UBERTI & C. GARDONE V. T. ITALY”. The top of the barrel is marked “NAVY ARMS CO. RIDGEFIELD NJ. MADE IN ITALY”. The left side of the octagonal chamber is marked “CAT. 1550” and features a proof marked “G”, “V” and “T”. The bottom tang has a proof mark with a “U” inside of it. The right side of the octagonal chamber is marked “CAL. 357 MAG.” and features several Italian proof marks. The right side of the receiver is marked with the serial number “08270” and features Italian proofs including the date code “AF”.

Barrel Length: 9.5”, Half-Round and Half-Octagonal

Sights/ Optics: The front sight is a dovetailed blade at the muzzle end of the barrel. The rear sight is a “U”-notch leaf and elevator sight dovetailed to the rear of the barrel.

 

Stock Configuration & Condition/ Grip: The stocks are two-piece wood with a forend and pistol grip. The stocks have some minor handling and storage marks but lack any notable defects. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the stocks are in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright. The rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.

Overall Condition: The pistol retains about 98% of its metal finish. There are some handling and storage marks but the pistol lacks any notable defects. The markings are clear. The screwheads are sharp and serviceable. Overall, this pistol is in Excellent condition

Mechanics:  The action functions correctly. The trigger is crisp. We did not fire this pistol. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
