Markings: The bottom of the dust cover is marked “STI INTERNATIONAL / GEORGETOWN, TX USA”. The top of the chamber is marked “9 X 19”. The right side of the frame is marked “2011” and with the serial number. The right side of the slide is marked with the STI Texas logo.
Barrel Length: 4.0” Bull Barrel
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a Trijicon blade with a tritium insert, it is dovetailed into the slide. The rear sight is a Trijicon square notch with a serrated rear face and tritium lamps fixed to the slide. The rear sight has a vertical front face for one-handed slide racking. The lamps are bright and easily acquired in low light. The slide is equipped with the H.O.S.T. optics system and included are four mounting plates for the following optics: C-More RTS-2, Trijicon RMR, Leopold Delta Point Pro, and Vortex Viper.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The trigger guard and grip frame are one piece, made of high strength synthetic material, in black, showing a stippled pattern. The pattern looks like the STI “Tree Bark” pattern. The grip has some light handling wear but no major defects. The grip rates in about Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 97% of its metal finish. There is some wear on the front edges of the slide and on the right side of the frame on the edge above the grip. There are some little scratches and areas of finish loss on the magazine well. There is light handling and operational wear. The grip screws are undamaged and the markings are clear. Overall, this pistol rates in about Fine Plus condition.
Mechanics: This pistol has ambidextrous thumb safeties, an adjustable trigger, crisp trigger, short reset, strong mainspring, skeletonized hammer & trigger, the grip safety has a rise to index one’s palm correctly each time. The slide and frame have superb mating and is very smooth. The action functions correctly. We did not fire this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes with a 20-round magazine, serial matching box, STI soft case, paperwork including the manual, and four optic plates for the following optics: C-More RTS-2, Trijicon RMR, Leopold Delta Point Pro, and Vortex Viper. Our Assessment: The 1911 and 1911-A1 pistols served the military of the United States from 1911 to 1985, through two World Wars and the Korean and Vietnam wars. They gained a reputation as a reliable handgun with plenty of stopping power, and are held in high regard by those who have used them. The design is one of the most beloved and has gone through many design changes such as modular frames like this Tactical Double Stack from STI. The Tactical DS was introduced in 2015 in 9mm, .40 S&W, and .45 ACP and features night sights, a 2011 double stack modular grip, 4.0” bull barrel, railed frame, the recoil master system, skeletonized hammer & trigger, ambidextrous safeties, an indexing bump beavertail safety, and forward & rear slide serrations. This one has been kept in great condition by a previous owner and does not look like it has seen much use and comes with one magazine, its original box, and a soft case.
