Markings: The left side of the dust cover is marked “20*11”. The bottom of the dust cover is marked “STI INTERNATIONAL / GEORGETOWN, TX USA”. The top of the chamber is marked “9 X 19”. The right side of the frame is marked with an American flag, serial number, and “STACCATO*P”.

Barrel Length: 4.4” Bull Barrel

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a Dawson Precision Perfect Impact blade with a serrated rear face and a red fiber-optic insert, it is dovetailed into the slide. The rear sight is a square notch target sight with a serrated rear face, it is dovetailed into the slide.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The trigger guard and grip frame are one piece, made of high strength synthetic material, in black, showing a textured pattern and a star at the bottom of each side. The grip has some light handling wear and a light mark on the right behind the American flag but no major defects. The grips rate in about Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.

Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 99% of its metal finish. There are no major defects. There is light handling and operational wear. The grip screws are undamaged and the markings are clear. Overall, this pistol rates in about Excellent condition.

Mechanics: This pistol has ambidextrous thumb safeties, an adjustable trigger, crisp trigger, short reset, strong mainspring, skeletonized hammer & trigger, the grip safety has a rise to index one’s palm correctly each time. The slide and frame have superb mating and are very smooth. The action works correctly. We did not fire this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes with a 17-round magazine, test target, paperwork including the manual, extra recoil springs, spare front sight inserts, and a grey STI soft case with a serial matching hang tag, both in about Excellent condition. Please note, no magazine will be included if prohibited by your local laws.

Our Assessment: The 1911 and 1911-A1 pistols served the military of the United States from 1911 to 1985, through two World Wars and the Korean and Vietnam wars. They gained a reputation as a reliable handgun with plenty of stopping power, and are held in high regard by those who have used them. The design is one of the most beloved and has gone through many design changes such as modular frames like this STI Staccato-P. The Staccato-P was introduced in 2018 in 9mm and features Dawson Precision sights, a 2011 double stack modular grip, 4.4” bull barrel, railed frame, Dawson tooless recoil system, skeletonized hammer & trigger, ambidextrous safeties, an indexing bump beavertail safety, and forward & rear slide serrations. This one has been kept in beautiful condition by a previous owner and does not look like it has seen mush use at all and comes with one magazine and a soft case.
