Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “STEYR GRAND RAPIDS MI.” The left side of the receiver is marked “STEYR-DAIMLER-PUCH A.G. STEYR MANNLICHER MOD. Sights / Optics: Front sight is a blade on a serrated boss, the rear sight is a V-notch dovetailed to the barrel.. A set of 1” scope rings is mounted to the receiver, ready for the optic of your choice.
Grip Configuration & Condition: The rifle features a green synthetic stock with molded lattis-style checkering at the grip and forearm. The stock is lightweight, rigid, and well-designed for prone or benchrest shooting. There are minor marks from use, but the stock remains free of cracks or major damage. The length of pull measures approximately 13.5″. The stock rates in about Very Good to Excellent condition.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: One original Steyr rotary magazine is included and marked appropriately for .308 WIN. It rates in Very Good to Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp rifling. There is no erosion and only light fouling. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 9.5/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains approximately 95%+ of its original finish. There is light operational wear near the bolt handle, ejection port, and magazine well. The screw heads are sharp. The pins are clean. The markings are crisp and legible. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent mechanical and Very Good to Excellent cosmetic condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The bolt cycles smoothly, locks up tightly, and the trigger breaks cleanly. The SSG 69 features a butter-smooth bolt and a superbly crisp two-stage trigger. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
