Markings: The left side of the slide is marked with the Star logo followed by “STAR”, “B. ECHEVERRIA / EIBAR-ESPANA”, “S.A”, and “CAL 765m/m32”. The right side of the frame is marked “MADE IN SPAIN”. The left side of the frame is marked with two proofs and a date code. The portion of the barrel visible through the chamber is marked with a proof.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a small round blade that is fixed to the slide. The rear sight is a square notch that is dovetailed to the slide.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two piece checkered brown wood with the Star logo on either side. The grips show no defects and have handling ware that is barely perceptible. The checkering is strong and sharp. There are no chips or cracks. The grips rate in about Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 80% of its metal finish. The finish on the slide and frame is beginning to thin and is showing a plum hue and faint surface oxidation is forming. There is rub wear through the finish at the muzzle end of the slide. There are a few little nicks and light scrapes scattered over the surfaces. The markings are strong and easily read. The screw heads are lightly tool marked with strong slots. Overall, this handgun rates in about Very Good-Plus condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This gun comes in its original serial matched box with a total of two magazines and an additional set of Star checkered black synthetic grips with a thumb rest on the left grip panel. Also included with this gun is an Azula brown leather holster. The magazines show standard operational wear with faint surface oxidation and they rate in about Very Good-Plus condition. The box shows rub wear through the finish on the edges and the cover is torn at three of the four corners. The additional grips show minimal wear with sharp checkering and rate in about Fine condition. The holster shows some scattered light scuffs and the stitching is intact and strong. The holster rates in about Fine Plus condition.
