The stock and sights are described below.

Barrel Length: Approximately 24 Inches

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade set between two protective wings. The rear sight is a fully adjustable aperture sight set between two protective wings. The windage knob is marked “LEFT arrow” twice and “DRC”. The elevation knob is marked from “2-12” in increments of two and “F Z R” on the edge.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The hardwood stock has a pistol grip, metal nose caps, a stacking loop, two sling loops and a metal buttplate with hinged door for storage in the butt. The refinished buttplate has surface erosion showing thorugh the finish. It also shows scrapes. The top of the grip shows a repaired crack. The crack runs through the interior of the stock from the top of grip to the top rear of the trigger group cut out.  Filled nail heads from the repairs are visible on both sides of the stock. The bottom rear of the butt shows a repair, nail heads are visible. The wood shows scuffs, scrapes, and small scratches. The LOP measures 13 inches from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The stock rates in about Very Good Plus overall condition as refurbished.

Type of Finish: Parkerized

Finish Originality: Refinished

Bore Condition: The grooves are light grey. The rifling is deep. There is fouling and erosion in the grooves. The fouling should clean up some. The bore shows an M.E. of 2.1. The throat shows a T.E. of 2.5.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 97% of its metal finish as refinished. The import mark has been coated with what appears to be gun paint. This area is textured due to excess paint. The receiver has areas of surface erosion showing through the new finish. The metal shows scuffs, scrapes, and some small scratches. The receiver shows areas of discoloration. The right side of the receiver & front of the bolt show some thinning consistent with cycling.  Most of the markings are deep. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good Plus condition as refinished.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: The rifle comes with a green canvas sling. The canvas shows discoloration, soiling, and a spot of fraying on the edge. The metal shows scrapes & scratches. It is in about Very Good condition.
