Our Assessment: This Springfield Armory M1 Garand was made back in 1944. It appears to have been rebuilt by the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP); we do not have a CMP Certificate to go with the rifle. The rifle was rebuilt using mostly Springfield parts and a new production CMP stock. It comes in a nice black CMP case that will keep this M1 Garand safe.
