Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “LONG SLIDE / CAL .45″. The right side of the slide is marked “SPRINGFIELD ARMORY” with their crossed cannon logo. The right side of the frame is marked “SPRINGFIELD / GENESEO IL USA / N482590”. The top of the barrel visible through the ejection port is marked “S.A. .45 AUTO”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated blade dovetailed into the slide. The rear sight is a square notch target sight with serrated rear face and is adjustable for windage and elevation dovetailed to the rear of the slide.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece black and white G-10 panels with a stars and stripes motif. There are no major defects, just light handling wear. The grips rate in Fine Plus overall condition.
Type of Finish: Matte Stainless
Finish Originality: Refinished. Appears to have been bead blasted, this model number usually has polished flats.
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 95% of its metal finish. There are scattered rubs and scuffs which have caused smooth spots, they are generally evenly dispersed. The front strap has been modified and has had material removed from behind the trigger guard and has been custom stippled. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear and crisp. Overall, this handgun rates in about Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions properly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes in a blue plastic Springfield Armory case with serial matching label, paperwork including a manual, and one 8-round Kim-Pro magazine in Fine condition.
Our Assessment: You can buy a basic 1911 and then install a skeletonized trigger and hammer, beavertail extended grip safety, ambidextrous extended thumb extended safety, extended magwell checkered mainspring housing, full-length guide-rod, adjustable target sights, and then install a longslide but why do that when you can just as easily get this? With its all-steel construction, recoil should be minimal and fast follow-up shots easy. The adjustable sights will allow you to zero this pistol with your preferred ammunition for your preferred purpose. The pistol is in about Fine condition and comes with its original box and one magazine, ready for defense, competition, or recreational target shooting. Please see our photos and good luck!
