Markings: The top of the receiver is marked “U.S. RIFLE M1A / SPRINGFIELD / ARMORY / 450845”. The top of the bolt is marked “7790186-SA / F00364”. The oprod is marked “7267064-2 / SA”. The sides of the front sight are marked “NM 62”. The top of the barrel is marked “NM 6.5 CM SS”. The right side of the chamber is marked “SPRINGFIELD INC, GENESEO IL”. The stock does not have a circle “P” or markings in the barrel channel.
Barrel Length: Approximately 22 inches and 24 ½” to end of muzzle brake
Sights / Optics: The rear sight is a fully-adjustable aperture set between protective ears, the right knob is marked “LEFT” with arrow twice. The left knob is marked with numbers 2-12 by twos. There is a mounting point integral to the left of the receiver for an optic (no mount or optic included), it is currently installed with a stripper clip guide.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is an M-14 stock with metal nosecap, sling swivels front and rear, buttplate with folding shoulder piece over a trapdoor covering a storage compartment. The front face of the grip has “P” in circle and the left has an Ordnance mark. There is a brown synthetic handguard above the forend. The stock has some scattered light nicks, scuffs and scratches, they have mainly colored with age. There is a heavy compression on the right of the stock behind the wrist and a gauge in the wood on the right of the buttstock. The handguard has some cracking at the front and rear with some scattered scrapes and scratches into surface material. The LOP measures 13 1/8″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The plate has scattered thinning, spots of discoloration from oxidation and a few dings. The top edge has some scrapes. Overall, the stocks are in about Fine condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 97% of its metal finish. There are some rubs on the parkerized surfaces. The barrel has a few scracthes and a few light scrapes, the most noticeable scrapes are on the right of the barrel. The edges of the muzzle brake show light thinning. The action shows light operational wear. The gas cylinder plug is tool marked. The markings are clear. Overall, the rifle is in about Fine Plus condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this rifle. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork& Accessories: The rifle comes with a Springfield Armory soft case in Excellent condition, paperwork including a manual & army technical manual, green web sling in Excellent condition, two ten round magazines, spare stock, and two cleaning kits all within a cardboard box. The magazines have some scattered light scuffs and one has a few marks into the finish, in about Fine and Excellent condition. The stock is checkered black polymer with a rubber buttpad, it has light handling wear and rates in about Excellent condition. The two cleaning kits contain combination tools, rods, brushes, and oil dippers.
