Markings: The top of the receiver is marked “U.S. RIFLE M1A / SPRINGFIELD / ARMORY / 433880”. The top of the bolt is marked “7790186-SA / F00352”. The oprod is marked “7267064-2 / SA”. The right side of the front sight are marked “NM 62”. The top of the barrel is marked “NM 6.5 CM SS”. The right side of the shank is marked “SPRINGFIELD INC, GENESEO IL”. The stock does not have a circle “P” or markings in the barrel channel.

Barrel Length: Approximately 22”, 25” to end of muzzle brake

Sights / Optics: The rear sight is a fully adjustable aperture set between protective ears, the right knob is marked “LEFT” with arrow twice. The left knob is marked with numbers 2-11 by twos. There is a mounting point integral to the left of the receiver for an optic (no mount or optic included), it is currently installed with a stripper clip guide.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is one-piece checkered synthetic with a pistol grip, a straight comb, fixed sling loops front and rear, and serrated rubber Springfield buttpad. There is a black synthetic handguard above the forend. The stock shows only very light handling marks with no major imperfections. The LOP measures 13 3/8″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The pad shows no significant wear, only minor rubs. Overall, the stock rates in about Fine-Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its metal finish. There are some rubs on the parkerized surfaces. The action shows light operational wear. The markings are clear. Overall, the rifle is in about Fine-Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this rifle. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
