Sights / Optics: The National Match front sight on the M1A™ Scout Squad rifle features a 0.062″ crisp blade. The rear sight is an adjustable peep aperture sight.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a traditional walnut wood upper handguard and stock with hinged metal butt plate. The LOP measures 13.25” from the front of the trigger to the back of the butt plate. The toe of the heel shows several chips. The rear section of the upper handguard has a small crack. The balance of the surface of the stock shows almost no marks or wear. Overall the stock is in Very Good condition.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: This rifle includes 1x Springfield 7.62x51mm / 308 Win 10rd box magazine and one 20 round box magazine both in Very Good condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is minor rust freckling and fouling present in the bore. The muzzle device shows verdigris in the ports from use. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 8.5/10.
Overall Condition: The rifle retains 99% of its metal finish. The friction surfaces of the bolt and receiver show minor rub wear. The rest of the rifle shows only minor marks and handling. The markings are clear and the screw heads are sharp. Overall this rifle is in Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle includes a hard sided case with foam, and the two magazines.
