Markings: Rear top of the receiver is marked “US RIFLE M1A SPRINGFIELD ARMORY 101088”. The top of the barrel is marked, “NM.308-SS”. The top of the bolt carrier group is marked “7790186-SA Z3”. The trigger housing is marked “7267030 66118”. The hammer is marked “TRW 5546008”. The right side of the barrel is marked “SPRINGFIELD INC GENESEO IL”.
Barrel Length: 22”, 25” with the classic flash hider.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade front sight with protective wings. The Rear Sight is a fully adjustable aperture sight set between protective wings.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is the traditional Walnut stock with two sling swivels, semi pistol grip, straight comb, a 13.25 LOP, butt storage compartment and the hinged metal butt plate. The top handguard is brown composite. The upper handguard shows only minor storage and handling wear with a few small surface level lines. The stock shows scattered minor marks, lines, and small compressions. The metal butt plate shows only minor rub wear on the edges, the hinge spring and door spring are strong. The wood is slightly discolored from being dry. The rear edges of the wood show some small chips. There are no cracks. Overall the stock is in Very Good+ condition.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: This rifle includes one 20 round magazine. The magazine is in Very Good+ condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion. The muzzle device shows no carbon fouling. The feed ramps are spotless, smooth and shiny. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is some finish loss from the friction surfaces of the bolt and receiver. There are some very minor surface marks from handling / use. The screw heads are sharp and the markings are clear. Overall this rifle is in about Very Good+-Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
