Our Assessment: This Springfield Armory Model 1898 Krag Rifle was made back in 1899. Unfortunately it is 5 months “too young” to be considered an antique. It is in nice shape for its age and still has deep markings on the receiver. This Krag comes with a Model 1892 Bayonet & Model 1892 metal Belt Scabbard. This 122 year old Krag can still do work out at the range and will add to your Military collection.
