Our Assessment: This Springfield Model 1892 Krag Rifle was made way back in December of 1894. It is an interesting Krag to add to your collection as it is a Model 1892 that is marked “1894”. It is over 125 years old and has seen some use. Luckily it still has good markings on the receiver and can do plenty of work out at the range. Best of all it’s an antique so No FFL is required…unless you live in California.
