Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade dovetailed into the slide. The rear sight is a Wilson Combat adjustable square notch target sight with that is fixed to the slide.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are stippled wood with S&W monogram logos and smooth borders. There are a few light handling marks. There are some scattered light handling marks. The stippling is strong. The grips rate in about Excellent overall condition.

Type of Finish: Stainless Steel

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In my opinion, this bore is a 10 out of 10.

Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. There are a few little marks on the backstrap. There is some faint wear on the edges of the sights. There are some scattered light hanlding marks. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: Included is an S&W metal hard case, paperwork including the manual, and a set of three 9-round magazines.

Our Assessment: Products from the Performance Center are the ultimate expression of old-world craftsmanship blended with modern technology. In the year 2000 when S&W released the 952 through the performance center it was billed as the most accurate 9mm in the world. This may have been a true statement if nothing more it is a very bold statement from S&W. This pistol is the stainless steel 952-2 from 2008 based on its test fired case envelope, and judging by the looks it may not have been out of its case since then! The gun looks great with the lightest of wear. It only has a few minor scuffs and tiny marks, most will likely go unnoticed. The gun feels amazing and the trigger crisp and smooth. As advertised by S&W, this very well may be the most accurate 9mm pistol in the world. Please see our pictures and be the judge for yourself, Good Luck!
