Markings: The right side of the frame is marked with the small S&W logo. The left side of the slide is marked “SMITH & WESSON” and with the four line S&W “Marcas Registradas” address. The left side of the frame is marked “TBJ2778 / MODEL 745”. The barrel visible through the ejection port is marked “45 AUTO”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated ramped blade integral to the front of the slide. The rear sight is a Novak competition square-notch sight dovetailed and screw-set to the rear of the slide.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece smooth walnut panels. The grips have no notable wear or damage, only light handling marks. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips are in about Excellent condition as not original to the gun.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 97% of its metal finish. The action shows minor operational wear and there are a few scattered minor marks, the most notable in the matte-finished portions of the frame. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this pistol is in about Fine-Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The slide has almost no play to the frame. The trigger is crisp. We have not fired this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes with a single 8-round magazine. The magazine has light operational wear, intact feed lips and a strong spring, in about Fine condition.
Our Assessment: This is a beautiful pistol, and is as powerful as it is reliable. The gun points well, the trigger is crisp, short and light and will be a sheer pleasure to shoot. We estimate the trigger pull to be around one pound. It has an adjustable trigger stop. All around this is a fantastic .45 ACP perfect for competition and home defense.
