Our Assessment: Introduced in 1977, the model 63 is a J-frame, stainless steel, rimfire revolver. Its smaller frame and .22 LR chambering make it a nice training revolver for new shooters, especially those with smaller hands. These handy revolvers are dubbed “Kit Guns” for their usefulness in one’s ‘kit” on hiking, fishing, camping, or other outdoor excursions. This is a No Dash model from before they eliminated the pinned barrel. The gun is in Fine condition with only a few scattered light marks and operational wear. It looks great and has a great bore, it will be a nice addition to a collection lacking a 63 and it would also make a great revolver for training and recreation. Please see our pictures and good luck!
