Markings: The left of the barrel is marked “SMITH & WESSON”, the right is marked “41 MAGNUM”. The side plate is marked with the S&W monogram logo and the right of the frame is marked with the four-line marcas registradas address. The crane-cut is marked with the serial and model numbers, the butt of the grip frame is also marked with the serial number. The crane and sides of the grip frame have inspection marks.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated ramped blade with orange insert integral to a raised rise in the rib. The rear sight is a flat top rectangular notch sight screwed to the top strap with elevation and windage micro clock adjustment and white outline of the notch.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two piece wood laminate with finger grooves. There is no handling wear. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips are in about Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp rifling. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9/10 condition.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 97% of its metal finish. There are some scattered scuffs and draglines. The cylinder has a thin turn line. The screw heads are mostly sharp, some have light tool marks with serviceable slots. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The cylinder lockup shows barely perceptible play with the trigger depressed. The double-action trigger is smooth and the single-action trigger is crisp. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This revolver comes with a non matching Smith & Wesson case with a purchase receipt and chamber lock and keys.
