Markings: The right side of the barrel shroud is marked “357 / MAG”. The yoke cut is marked with the serial and model numbers. The right side of the frame is marked with the four-line Marcas Registradas address, the left side has S&W’s Performance Center monogram logo. The left side of the barrel shroud is marked with an “8” surrounded by eight dots. The sides of the grip frame and yoke have inspection marks. The butt is marked with the serial number.

Barrel Length: 2″

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a bright orange ramped blade dovetailed into the barrel. The rear sight is a square notch at the end of a groove that runs the length of the topstrap.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The grip is a textured black rubber Hogue Monogrip with finger grooves. There are light handling marks and a few scuffs and rubs. The grips are in about Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the Electro Chemically Machined rifling is strong. There is no erosion in the bore.

Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 92% of its metal finish. The teardrop hammer and trigger have scattered spots of oxidation. The black scandium components show light handling wear and a few little rubs. There are some small spots of light discoloration and a few rubs that have smoothed the matte finish on the titanium cylinder and barrel shroud. There is a thin turn line on the cylinder. The blued yoke has a few scattered spots of light frost. The screw heads are lightly worn. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Very Good-Fine condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The cylinder lockup has very light play on each of the eight chambers. The double-action trigger is light and smooth and the single-action is light and crisp. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
