Action Type: 5-Shot, Double / Single Action, Swing-Out Smooth Cylinder with Hand Ejector Revolver.

Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “PERFORMANCE CENTER”. The right side of the barrel is marked  “460 S&W MAGNUM”. The left side of the frame has the performance center S&W monogram, the right is marked with the four-line Marcas Registradas. The yoke cut is marked with the serial and model number.

Barrel Length: 14”, 15.5” fluted with the three chamber brake.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is black simple blade, ring clamped to a smooth section of the barrel at the muzzle. There is also a picatinny rail integral to the barrel. Rear sight been removed from the top strap.  The top of the chamber has a 4” Picatinny Rail for scope options. 

Stock Configuration & Condition: The grip is a one-piece cobblestone textured black rubber Hogue Monogrip with finger grooves and molded S&W logos at the top on each side which fully encloses the grip frame. The underside of the barrel has a short section of picatinny rail for a bi-pod (none present). The grip has no notable wear or damage outside of some light handling. There are no rips or tears. Overall, the grip is in about Excellent condition.

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. There is some very, very minor fouling in the grooves. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9.5/10.

Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. This pistol shows little handling wear and operational wear. The cylinder has a very thin turn line. There are some fire marks on the sides of the muzzle brake ports and sides/front of each chamber. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The cylinder lockup produces very light play on each chamber. The trigger pull is exceptionally crisp with almost no overtravel.  We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
