Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “SMITH & WESSON.” The right side is marked “.22 LONG RIFLE CTG.” The right side of the frame is marked with the S&W trademark and “MADE IN U.S.A.” The serial number “132330” is stamped on the butt. The model marking “MOD. 34-1” is stamped inside the yoke cut.
Finish Originality: Original
Finish Condition: The factory blued finish is perfect, with only a faint turn line on the cylinder visible under close inspection.
Grips: Factory checkered walnut grips with S&W medallions, excellent with sharp checkering and no chips or cracks.
Bore Condition: The bore is bright, the rifling is sharp. There is no visible fouling or erosion. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 10/10.
Mechanics: The revolver is in unfired condition and functions flawlessly in both single and double action. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
