Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “460 S&W MAGNUM”. The right side of the barrel is marked “SMITH & WESSON”. The left side of the frame has the S&W monogram, the right is marked with the four-line Marcas Registradas and “460XVR”. The yoke cut is marked with the serial and model number.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a green fiber optic blade pinned to a ramped base. The rear sight is a fully adjustable simple black rectangular notch sight.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grip is a one-piece cobblestone textured black rubber Hogue Monogrip with finger grooves and molded S&W logos at the top on each side which fully encloses the grip frame. The grip has no notable wear or damage. There are no rips or tears. Overall, the grip is in about Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. There is some very, very minor fouling in the grooves. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9.5/10.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. This pistol shows almost no handling wear. The cylinder has a very thin turn line. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent- Like New condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The cylinder lockup produces very light play on each chamber. The trigger pull is exceptionally crisp with almost no overtravel. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This revolver includes a Smith and Wesson serialized case, cable lock with keys, manual and paperwork, metal rod, frame keys and extra compensator with allen wrench.
