Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “28C 007812”, “SIG556, 5.56 NATO, SIG SAUER INC., EXETER, NH, USA”, and “S” and “F”. The right side of the receiver is marked “S” and “F” near the ambidextrous safety. The left side of the pistol grip is marked “SIG SAUER”. The barrel is marked “5.56 NATO 1/7 P”.

Sights / Optics: This rifle comes with a attached to the full length picatinny rail. The front sight is an adjustable hooded post fixed to the gas block, the rear sight is a SIG 4-position diopter attached to the receiver. There are integral flip-up rear sight set into the rail.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The pistol grip and folding stock synthetic with an aluminum quadrail forend. There are Ergo ladder rail covers on the left, right, and bottom rails. The pistol grip has a trap for storage. There are no chips or cracks. There are some light scratches. The LOP measures 13.25” from the front of the trigger to the back of the unfolded buttstock. The stock rates in about Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9.5/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its metal finish. There are light handling and wear marks throughout. There is some finish loss around the magwell. The screw heads are sharp and the pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

It comes with a 16-inch barrel (17 inches including the A2-style flash hider), an aluminum quad-rail handguard with Ergo ladder rail covers, and a folding synthetic stock. The factory-installed iron sights include a hooded front post on the gas block and a SIG 4-position rotary diopter rear sight mounted on the receiver. Integrated flip-up sights are also built into the rail for redundancy.
