Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “SIG SAUER P220”. The grip panels are marked “SIG SAUER”. The barrel is marked “.45 AUTO”. The right side of the slide has the Sig Sauer logo and “CUSTOM SHOP”. The right side of the frame is marked “SIG SAUER INC. EXETER-NH / FRAME MADE IN GERMANY-SAUER®”, “DE” and the serial number “G 512 659”.

Sights/ Optics: The front sight is a blade with a tritium dot dovetailed to the muzzle end of the slide. The tritium dot still glows in the dark. The rear sight is an adjustable screw-set square-notch which is dovetailed to the rear end of the slide. There is a Picatinny rail integral to the frame which can be used for attaching an accessory (none included).
Stock Configuration & Condition/ Grip: The grips are two-piece checkered rosewood panels. The grips have some light handling marks but lack any notable defects. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips are in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is well defined. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: The pistol retains about 99% of its metal finsih. There are some handling marks but the metal parts of the pistol lack any notable defects. The markings are clear. The screwheads are serviceable and pins unmarred. Overall, the pistol is in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The slide to frame fit is snug and the single-action trigger is crisp. We have not fired this pistol. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box Paperwork and Accessories: The pistol comes with a serial matched box, a safety device, a total of two 8-round magazines, a padlock and some paperwork which includes the user manual. The box has some handling wear but it remains in Fine condition. The magazines have standard markings and only light handling wear. The magazines are both in Fine condition.
Our Assessment: This SIG Sauer model P220 Super Match is a semi-automatic single-action pistol that takes .45 ACP rounds. The Super Match is an enhanced version of the P220 with a longer barrel, target sights, and crisp single action only trigger, making for a great competition target gun. The pistol is a nicely crafted showing by SIG, it is aesthetically pleasing with a two tone finish and rosewood grips. The pistol also remains mechanically sound.
