Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “SIG SAUER P220” and “STAINLESS”. The right side of the slide is marked with the Sig Sauer Custom Shop logo and “Equinox”. The barrel visible through the ejection port is marked “.45 Auto”. The right side of the frame is marked with the serial number and “-SIGARMS INC.EXETER NH- / FRAME MADE IN GERMANY” next to the Sig monogram.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a green Truglo TG-H3 tritium fiber optic dovetailed at the muzzle. The rear sight is a square notch tritium sight dovetailed in the rear of the slide. The sights have dimmed somewhat but are usable in very low-no light environments while the front sight is bright in light environments.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are gray laminate wood with “Sig Sauer” in the center and pebbled texture at the front and checkering towards the heel. The grips have no notable wear or damage with only light handling marks. There are no chips or cracks. The grips rate in about Excellent overall condition. The front strap is serrated.
Type of Finish: Black alloy frame, Slide is stainless steel with polished flats and the remainder Nitron.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore, only some light fouling in the grooves.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is no notable wear or damage with only a hint of operational wear and some light handling marks. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: The gun comes housed in a black canvas zipper case marked “SIG P220 EQUINOX 45ACP” with two 8-round magazines.
Our Assessment: The Equinox is the balance between day and night. The P220 Equinox Full-Size is a single stack .45 ACP designed by SIG SAUER Custom Shop master gunsmiths. It features a two-tone accented Nitron stainless steel slide with a lightweight black hard-anodized alloy frame. The contrast in color is achieved by the brush polished flats of the slide and nickel accents. This pistol comes in a black soft case with two 8-round magazines, is in Excellent condition and is just a beautiful example of Sig Sauer’s Custom Shop work. Please see our photos and good luck!
