Sights / Optics: The front is a flip up iron sight with protective wings. The rear sight is a flip up dual aperture. There is a Sightmark red dot mounted atop the picatinny. The dot does not light up, but probably only needs batteries.
Grip/Stock Configuration & Condition: The grip is a grooved/textured pistol grip. The pistol brace is a Sig fixed position brace. The forend is a one piece metal with holes to screw in the included picatinny rail sections. There is minimal handling and operational wear. All of the furniture is in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 9.5 out of 10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its original metal finish. There is light handling and operational wear with only a few scattered finish blemishes. The pins are clean and unmarred. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action and safety function correctly. We did not fire this rifle. We have cleaned this firearm and performed a mechanic’s check but expect many will want to clean the firearm again depending on their standards.

Our Assessment: This compact 7.62×39 SIG carries the bold, modern profile of the modular 556XI Russian system: a short 10? barrel tuned for the intermediate cartridge’s punch, a robust piston-driven operating system, and the distinctive AK-magazine–compatible lower that gives the “Russian” variant its unmistakable identity. The upper receiver’s clean lines, full-length rail, and modular forearm accept the included Picatinny sections, while the Sightmark red dot delivers fast, bright target acquisition on a platform already built for quick handling. Even in pistol format, the gun feels substantially engineered — solid lockup, confident cycling, and the stout gas-piston cadence that sets the XI series apart from DI-based AR pistols.
