Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “SIG SAUER 1911”. The right side of the frame is marked “SIG SAUER INC. / EXETER-NH-USA 54A063715”. The chamber is marked “.45 AUTO / SIG SAUER”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a black blade with a white dot, dovetailed to the slide. The rear sight is a square notch sight, with two white dots, dovetailed to the slide. The 3-Dot System is tritium sights, for low light visibility.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are a two-piece, checkered, simulated wood polymer grip set with a crimson trace laser. The laser does not function, more than likely due to a dead battery. The grips show no notable wear. The grips fit tightly to the frame, with no play. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips rate in Excellent condition.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: 2x 8rd factory magazines, both in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp rifling. There is no erosion in the bore, but there is some light fouling present. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 9.5/10.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 99% of its original metal finish. The balance of the finish shows only minor handling wear. The two-tone finish is intact throughout. The markings are clear and legible. The screw heads are sharp and the pins are unmarred. Overall, this pistol rates in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly, as does the safety. The trigger has a crisp and clean break. We did not fire this pistol, but we did perform a mechanic’s check. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes with its original serial number matching box, owner’s manual/paperwork, chamber flag, cable lock, and the two magazines as mentioned above.

By 2013, when this pistol was produced, Sig’s stainless-and-Nitron two-tone 1911s had established themselves as exceptionally well-fit, tight-running renditions of the platform; guns known for consistent lockup, crisp triggers, and enhanced durability over many mass-market offerings. The external dimensions remain true to the Government-length 5-inch pattern, but the overall build quality reflects a distinctly modern manufacturing approach while retaining full parts compatibility with the traditional 1911 design.

This example presents in excellent condition, showing minimal handling wear and maintaining its clean two-tone finishes, bright bore, and sharp mechanical integrity. The pistol includes its original box, paperwork, and two factory magazines, elements that increase appeal for both shooters and collectors. Though the Crimson Trace laser grip requires a new battery, the grip panels themselves remain in excellent condition, adding a practical enhancement once restored.
