Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “STURM, RUGER & CO., INC. /  SOUTHPORT, CONN, U.S.A.” and a Ruger proof mark. The right side of the barrel is marked “.357 MAGNUM CAL.”. The left side of the frame is marked “MADE IN THE 200TH YEAR / OF AMERICAN LIBERTY”. The right side of the frame is marked “RUGER SECURITY-SIX,“®”, and a Ruger phoenix logo. The bottom of the grip frame is marked with the serial number “125-58175”. The back of the cylinder is marked “S”.

Barrel Length: 6″

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated ramped blade pinned to the barrel rib. The rear sight is a square-notch in a base pinned to the topstrap and is adjustable for elevation and windage.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece wood with checkered diamonds and inset Ruger phoenix logo medallions. Both panels show scattered light nicks most notable on the underside of the left panel. The checkering is sharp, and there are no chips cracks. Overall, the grips rate in Fine condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.

Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 96% of its metal finish. There are scattered minor scuffs throughout along with some minor holster wear at the muzzle. The cylinder has a faint turn-line. The screw is sharp, the pins are unmarred, and markings are clear. Overall, this revolver rates in Fine condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The cylinder locks with minor play at each stop when the trigger is depressed. The double action trigger is smooth, the single action is crisp. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
