Markings: The right side of the frame is marked “RUGER® POLICE SERVICE-SIX®” with the Ruger phoenix emblem below the cylinder. The right side of the barrel is marked “.357 MAGNUM CAL.” The top of the barrel is marked “BEFORE USING GUN – READ WARNINGS IN INSTRUCTION MANUAL AVAILABLE FROM STURM, RUGER & CO., INC. SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A.” The serial number “155-86044” is stamped on the butt.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a fixed serrated ramp, and the rear sight is a square-notch integral to the top strap.
Grips / Stock: The revolver is fitted with factory checkered walnut grips with silver Ruger medallions. The grips are in excellent condition, showing only light handling wear.
Finish: Factory blued finish. Approximately 98% of the finish is retained with minor handling marks, a faint cylinder line, and light muzzle wear consistent with limited use and careful handling.
Bore Condition: The bore is bright, the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore but there is stubborn fouling throughout. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This revolver retains about 98% of its original finish. The cylinder shows a faint turn line and there are minor edge marks at the muzzle and front of the cylinder. The frame and barrel surfaces remain strong and glossy with minimal signs of wear. The markings are deep and clear throughout.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly in both single and double action. The timing and lockup are solid, and the ejector rod operates smoothly. We did not fire this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: The revolver includes its original Ruger factory box (showing light edge wear and shelf scuffs) and the factory instruction manual.
