Markings: The stop of the barrel is marked with a Ruger warning over “STURM, RUGER & CO., INC. / SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A.”. The left side of the barrel is marked with “7mm REM MAG” and a Ruger proof mark. The top of the receiver is marked “RUGER / No. 1”. The underside left of the receiver is marked with the serial number “134-26909”. The grip cap is marked with a Ruger logo. The buttpad is marked “Decelerator”.

Barrel Length: 28” ported barrel

Sights/Optics: There is no provision for iron sights on this rifle. The barrel is drilled, tapped, and filled with a barrel rib that is notched for Ruger rings (not included).

Stock Configuration and Condition: The stock is a two-piece checkered wood with pistol grip, beavertail forend, fluted straight comb, and black rubber Decelerator buttpad. There are QD sling swivels on the belly of the buttstock and forend. The stock has minor handling marks, but otherwise is free of any notable wear or damage. The checkering is sharp. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP is 13 3/4” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad, and 12 3/4” from the front of the trigger to the back of the wood. The buttpad shows light wear at the heel and toe along with minor light scuffing. Overall, the stock rates in Fine condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 96% of its metal finish. The receiver has a few spots of minor surface oxidation. The barrel has a few light nicks on the right side, one of which is through the finish. The screws show minor tool marks with strong slots, and all markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in Fine-plus condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
