Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated ramped blade fixed to a base on the barrel. The rear sight is an adjustable square-notch mounted to the top strap.
Markings:
The left side of the frame is marked “RUGER® .480 RUGER / NEW MODEL SUPER BLACKHAWK®.” The bottom of the barrel is marked “READ INSTRUCTION MANUAL BEFORE USING FIREARM / RUGER, NEWPORT, NH USA.” The serial number “89-11352” is marked on the right side of the frame. The grips feature Ruger medallions.
Stock Configuration & Condition:
The grips are smooth laminated hardwood panels with inset silver Ruger medallions. The grips show no notable wear or damage and are free of chips or cracks. They are in Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition:
The bore is bright with sharp rifling and no erosion. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition:
This revolver shows light evidence of use. There are a few faint handling marks and very light cylinder drag lines, with light burn rings visible on the cylinder face. The stainless surfaces remain clean and well-preserved. The screw heads are sharp, and the markings are clear. Overall, this revolver rates in Excellent condition, retaining about 98% of its original finish.
Mechanics:
The action functions correctly. The hammer cocks and locks securely, the cylinder rotates properly, and the timing and lockup are solid. The trigger breaks cleanly. The revolver has Ruger’s transfer bar safety system.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories:
Included is the original gray Ruger hard case with matching serial number label, owner’s manual, and safety lock insert.
