Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked with a two-line Ruger warning. The left side of the frame is marked “RUGER® .44 MAGNUM CAL. / NEW MODEL BLACKHAWK®”. The right side of the frame under the cylinder is marked with the serial number “85-57393”. The cylinder is marked “RUGER / BISLEY / MODEL” along with floriate engraving, an engraving of a man in a shooting pose, and a crest.
Barrel Length: 5 1/2”
Sights/Optics: The front sight is a serrated ramped blade integral to a base fixed to the barrel. The rear sight is an adjustable square-notch leaf in a base pinned to a channel in the top strap.
Stock Configuration and Condition: The grips are replacement two-piece smooth faux ivory panels on a Bisley grip frame. The panels are free of any notable wear or damage. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips rate in Fine-to-Excellent condition, as not original to the gun.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 97% of its metal finish. There is minor holster wear on the left side of the barrel that resolves into a few minor nicks and scuffs. The cylinder has an intermittent but distinct turn line, partially through the finish. The guard and the grip frame have taken on a faint plum hue. The screws have light toolmarks with strong slots, pins are unmarred, and all markings are clear. Overall, this revolver rates in Fine-to-Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The cylinder locks with almost no play. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
