Markings: The bottom of the barrel is marked with Ruger’s two-line warning. The left of the frame is marked “RUGER .327 MAGNUM CAL. / NEW MODEL BLACKHAWK”. The right of the frame is marked with the serial number. The rear face of the cylinder is marked “S”, the front face is hand-marked “556”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated ramp blade, pinned into a rectangular base that is fixed to the barrel. The rear sight is a flat top, square notched leaf in a base that is adjustable for windage and elevation. The rear sight notch has an outline cut, but it is not filled with any color
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are a two piece smooth hardwood set with silver on black Ruger medallions. The grips have no notable wear or damage, only light handling marks. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips are in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 97% of its metal finish. There are a few scattered minor scuffs. The action shows minor operational wear with a light, incomplete turn-line on the cylinder. The screw heads are sharp. The pin heads are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in Fine-Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The cylinder produces barely perceptible side play in full lockup of all 8 chambers with no measurable back play. The trigger pull is crisp. The revolver has Ruger’s transfer bar safety. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This revolver comes in a gray plastic Ruger case with serial-matching label, a lock and an assortment of factory paperwork including manual.
Our Assessment: This is a Ruger New Model Blackhawk in .327 Magnum, with an 8-shot cylinder and extremely durable stainless steel construction. The .327 Magnum chambering allows the use of several other .32 caliber cartridges, which will be quite gentle in this all-steel frame revolver, as well as allowing greater capacity in the same size frame when compared to a .38/.357 magnum. This revolver looks to have seen very light use with about 97% of its finish, a bright bore and strong mechanics. The .327 Magnum cartridge may not have all the power of the .357 Magnum, but it packs quite a punch and moves just about as fast while allowing for more rounds in the gun with less recoil. This would make a great companion gun for other .32s, a fine addition to a Ruger collection and a fun recreational shooter. Please see our photos and good luck!
