Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked with the serial number  “181-81462“ and a warning above the company logo followed by “STURM, RUGER & CO., INC. / SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A.”. The top rear of the receiver is marked “RUGER / MINI-14 / CAL. .223”. The top of the receiver is marked with the circled “SR” proof at the front on the left side.

Barrel Length: Approximately 18 ½” Inches

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a ramped serrated blade integral to a band pinned to the barrel. The rear sight is a factory Ruger peep aperture adjustable for windage and elevation.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is smooth wood with a pistol grip and straight comb. There are scattered draglines and compressions plus a few impact marks. These defects are generally evenly dispersed. The most noticeable defect is a deep compression on the left side above the safety pin. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures approximately 12 ?” inches from the front of the trigger to the back of the black plastic buttplate. The buttplate has some scratches, scrapes, and little marks. The stock rates in about Fine overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 96% of its metal finish. There are some little rubs and marks. There are some nicks on the rear sight shroud. There are scratches and scuffs to the leading edges, most noticeable on the op-rod from standard use. The screw heads are sharp with strong slots. The markings are clear and easily read. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
