Markings: The top of the barrel is marked “STURM, RUGER & CO. INC., SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A.”. The left side of the barrel is marked “416 RIGBY” and with a Ruger proof mark. The left side of the receiver is marked with the serial number, “790-38537” and “RUGER® MAGNUM”. The grip cap is marked with a gold Ruger phoenix logo. The buttpad is marked with a Ruger phoenix logo. The bolt is serial-matching, hand-scribed “38537” over initials that can not be made out.
Barrel Length: 24”.
Sights/Optics: The front sight is a brass beaded blade in-line dovetailed into a ramped banded base. The rear sight is a dual flip up u-notch dovetailed into the receiver/barrel rib.
Stock Configuration and Condition: The stock is a one-piece wood with checkered pistol grip and forend with black-cap, fluted straight comb, and serrated black rubber buttpad. There are sling studs on the belly of the buttstock and underside of the forend. The right side of the stock near the magazine cover shows a small nick and a light compression. The checkering is sharp. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP is 13 3/4” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The buttpad shows only light handling marks. Overall, the stock rates in Fine condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its metal finish. The receiver and bolt release have taken on a light plum hue, and there are scattered minor nicks most notable on the right side. The screws show minor tool marks with strong slots, and all markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
