Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “RUGER PRECISION NEWPORT-NH-USA 1800-66144”. Both sides of the safety selector have “RUGER” and “SAFE, FIRE”. The left side of the barrel is marked “6.5 CREEDMOOR READ INSTRUCTION MANUAL BEFORE USING THE FIREARM”. The right side of the handguard is marked with the Ruger logo. The left side of the handguard is marked “RUGER”. The right side of the lower receiver is marked with the Ruger logo.

Sights / Optics: There are no provisions for iron sights. The top of the receiver is mounted with a Vortex Viper PST 5-25×50 scope with a EBR-4 MOA reticle (2nd focal plane). The glass in the scope is clear. There are a few dings and scratches on the scope’s finish. The scope is mounted on the picatinny rail integral to the rifle, and sits in 30mm rings. Overall, the scope is in Very Good condition.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The buttstock is a Magpul PRS Gen. 3 precision adjustable stock, in OD Green. The left-folding stock hinge is attached to an AR-style buffer tube and accepts any AR-style stock. Length of pull and comb height are adjustable. The handguard is Key-Mod compatible. The stock shows light wear with only a couple of scratches and scuffs. Overall, the stock rates in about Very Good to Fine condition. There is a sling and a bipod attached to the rifle.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: 1x 10rd Magpul PMag 10 7.62×51 magazine, in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp . There is no visible erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows no notable wear other than light handling marks. The markings are clear and legible. The screw heads are sharp. Overall, this rifle rates in Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly, as does the safety. The trigger has a crisp and clean break. We did not fire this rifle, but we did perform a mechanic’s check. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
