Sights / Optics: The front sight is a post with protective wings. The rear sight is an adjustable V notch.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is in a 2 piece wood configuration featuring a raised comb, rubber buttpad, thumbhole pistol grip and smooth handguard. The LOP is 12.75” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. There are faint handling marks present. The stock rates in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright, the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows only light operational wear. The screw heads are sharp and unmarred. The pins are clean. The markings are sharp. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: The Romarm PSL-54 is Romania’s answer to the Soviet Dragunov, built on an enlarged RPK receiver and chambered in the hard-hitting 7.62x54mmR. While not a true Dragunov, the PSL has long filled the DMR (Designated Marksman Rifle) role in Eastern Bloc militaries and has earned a reputation for reliability and solid battlefield accuracy. This particular example, manufactured in 2022, represents a modern production with clean parkerized finish, laminated wood furniture, and robust construction, staying true to the Cold War aesthetic.
This rifle comes exceptionally well-outfitted, with no less than eleven magazines — six 10-round and five hard-to-find 20-rounders — plus a factory scope rail for mounting your preferred optic.
