Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “10 GA. MAGNUM / 3 ½” SHELLS ONLY”. The left side of the receiver is marked “Remington SP-10 MAGNUM” and the serial number “RM001490”. The left side of the chamber is marked “BK J” with a proof and the right side of the chamber has a series of proofs.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a white bead on top of a ventilated rib. A silver midbead is present as well.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two piece checkered wood with finger grooved forearm, semi-pistol grip, straight comb, ventilated rubber buttpad, and two sling studs front and rear. The checkering is sharp with a few compressed checkers. The smooth surfaces show scattered handling and storage marks. There are a few impact marks on the forend. The LOP measures 14 1/8” from the front of the trigger to the back of the rubber buttpad. The stocks rate in about Fine overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright. There is no erosion in the bore.In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 97% of its metal finish. The receiver has a couple scattered rubs. The barrel has a few scattered scuffs, rubs, and draglines that have lightly thinned the finish. The rib has faint thinning on the edges and a few little impact marks. There is light operational wear. The pinheads are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
