Our Assessment: The Model Seven is Remington’s attempt at a less expensive but high-quality bolt-action rifle. The main difference was the design of the receiver which is pretty much a miniaturized 700 receiver and is optimized for short action calibers. Upon picking up this rifle the quality is apparent and they certainly achieved making a high-quality rifle for a more budget-minded price. With its stainless finish, durable textured black polymer stock, and a premium Leupold scope, this rifle is ready for just about anything. Please see our photos and good luck!
