Year of Manufacture: The date code is poorly struck but we would guess that this rifle was made in the 2010s.

Action Type: Bolt Action Rifle with Detchable Magazine

Markings: The right side of the receiver is marked with the serial number at the breech and “Remington / MODEL 700LH” at the midsection. The left side of the barrel is marked “REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY, INC. ILION, N.Y.  223 REM” and is also marked a poorly struck date code. The right side of the barrel is marked with magnaflux, proof, and test marks at the breech. The bolt is matched to the rifle and the bottom is marked “7628”.

Barrel Length: 24”

Sights / Optics: The barrel has no provision for iron sights. The top of the receiver is installed with a one-piece picatinny rail and two-piece rings holding a Leupold 4-12 VX-II scope. The scope has some handling wear, no major defects. The scope has a duplex reticle and the glass is clear. The scope rates in about Excellent condition.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is an olive green H-S Precision composite stock with black webbing, pistol grip, straight comb, and a solid black rubber buttpad. There are a few light rubs and scuffs. The LOP measures approximately 13 1/2” from the front of the trigger to the back of the solid black rubber buttpad. The buttpad has only light wear from responsible use. The stock rates in about Excellent overall condition.

Type of Finish: Matte Blue

Finish Originality: Original but the Bottom Metal is Aftermarket

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its metal finish. There are a few scattered light marks, mostly on the barrel. There are a couple small nicks on the trigger guard. There are a few scuffs on the bolt handle. There is light handling and standard operational wear. The markings are strong. The screw heads have strong sockets. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The trigger is light and crisp. The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: Included is the previously installed Leupold scope in Excellent condition and a single 4-round detachable magazine. The mag has some light marks into the finish and rates in about Excellent condition.
