Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “Remington / MODEL 700” and “6639290”. The left side of the barrel is marked “7MM REM. MAG.”.

Sights / Optics: The top of the receiver is drilled, tapped, and filled.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a single piece C Grade checkered walnut stock with a Rosewood capped semi-pistol grip, monte carlo comb with cheek piece, 2 sling studs, Rosewood tipped forend, and rubber buttpad. There are a few scattered compression lines, scratches, and some minor nicks. The checkering is crisp and attractive. The stock rates in about Excellent overall condition.
Type of Finish: Blued, Polished
Finish Originality: Original
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is some very faint erosion in the grooves. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 8.5/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows very little operation wear. There is oxidation on the bolt handle. The markings are clear. The screwheads are strong and sharp. There is finish loss on the edges of the trigger guard. Overall, this rifle rates in about Fine Plus condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
